Introduction

Building upon the successful establishment of the China–Malaysia “Belt and Road” Joint Laboratory on Oil Processing and Safety, the China–ASEAN Alliance for Future Oil Science and Technology Innovation (CAA-FOSTI) aims to further advance regional collaboration in lipid science, technology, and education.

Guided by the principles of mutual benefit, sustainability, and innovation, the alliance seeks to strengthen scientific research partnerships, enhance academic and educational exchanges, and promote the sustainable development of agricultural commodities among China and ASEAN member countries.

CAA-FOSTI aspires to foster long-term strategic partnerships in lipid-related disciplines, facilitating the translation of scientific discoveries into practical applications that generate meaningful impact for industry, academia, and society.
